Coaching for leaders, changemakers, and rising professionals in international development. Personalized coaching tailored to your unique needs to turn inner clarity into outer impact.

Meet your Coach:
I’m Dr. Alok Ranjan.
I Help People Like You Lead and Grow Boldly in a Complex World.

After two decades navigating the ever-evolving landscape of international development—from district level to global level—from front-line action to strategic leadership—I’ve seen how professionals like you often carry the weight of impact without the space to reflect, grow, or lead with intention.

As a coach, I support leaders and future leaders to:

  • Navigate career transitions with clarity and reconnect with purpose
  • Achieve personal and professional goals with clarity and strategy.
  • Grow into more impactful, future-ready leaders in a fast-changing global environment.

Why have I chosen this path, at this stage?

    • After 20 years in international development, I’ve realised a major gap—most professionals in this sector never receive coaching support through their career. At best, a few get it when they reach the top. That has to change.
    • The world is shifting fast. Funding for international development is shrinking like never before. The structure of aid itself is being questioned. AI has already started disrupting jobs and systems. All these along with Climate change will lead to massive impact in next few years.
    • In short: the rules are changing. The skills, mindset, and leadership needed to thrive in this new era are different from those of the past.
    • That’s why now—not later—is the time for professionals in our sector to invest in their own growth. I’ve just completed my professional coaching certification, and I’m now focused on supporting people like you not just survive the coming changes—but lead through them.

Each session is designed to take the client from their PAIN points to their GROWTH trajectory.

Supporting clients to move away from-

“I feel stuck in my career and don’t know what the next step should be.”

“I’m constantly second-guessing myself, even though I’m experienced.”

“I’m overwhelmed by how fast things are changing in development work.”

“I’m afraid I’ll be left behind if I don’t upskill or adapt.”

“I feel like an imposter in rooms where I should feel confident.”

“I’ve been in the same role for years, I know I’m capable of more, but I don’t know how to get there.”

“The future of this sector feels uncertain, and I don’t know how to prepare.”

“I’m afraid my skills won’t stay relevant with AI and climate disrupting everything.”

“I’m struggling to navigate internal politics and tough relationships at work.”

“It’s lonely being in a leadership role, and I’m burned out but afraid to admit it because I might seem weak.”

Supporting clients to move towards –

“I want to grow into a leadership role to be part of reshaping the future of development—and that starts with me growing first.”

“I’d love to feel more confident in high-stakes conversations and decision-making; thus, finally overcome imposter syndrome.”

“I want clarity on where I’m going in my career and how to navigate career transitions with confidence, not anxiety.”

“It would feel amazing to finally balance my personal growth with my professional ambition.”

“I’d love to stay ahead of the curve—especially with AI and climate shaking up everything.”

I’d love to feel like I’m in control of my career and have a plan for the next 3–5 years of my career.”

“I want to develop the skills to work across sectors and silos more effectively.”

“I’d love to be the kind of leader who thrives even in uncertain global conditions.”

“It’s time I invest in me—my confidence, clarity, and leadership.”

“It would be so empowering to move beyond self-doubt by understanding my strengths and knowing how to leverage them better.”
